Jacko 911 tape revealed

A DRAMATIC recording revealed today is believed to detail the moment paramedics broke the news of Michael Jackson's death.



A voice is heard calling ahead to a hospital on a tape which has emerged online.



It could become new evidence in the trial of Jacko's personal doctor.

The recording is believed to feature a Los Angeles Fire Department medical worker calling the UCLA hospital. The voice says: "Patient is Michael Jackson, the pop star singer. No pulse, no breathing. Unresponsive. Tried to resuscitate him. Unsuccessful.

"We've done everything we can. We should be there in five minutes. It doesn't look good. It doesn't look good" The tape, which emerged on an ambulance workers' web forum, may be the first time the 50-year-old's death was announced last June 25.

An LAFD spokesman said of the recording: "I couldn't confirm that is one of our workers. It could be. They refer to 'pop star Michael Jackson' but it is not our practice to name names."

If genuine, the tape may be vital evidence in Dr Conrad Murray's involuntary manslaughter trial later this year.

It contradicts the claims of Dr Murray who says the star was still warm and had a pulse when he found Jacko and put him in the ambulance.

The timeline of events will be crucial to his trial. He has admitted giving Jacko a cocktail of drugs including powerful sedative Propofol.

Dr Murray, 56, initially told the LAPD he administered it at 10.50am and left the room for two minutes - then began CPR when he returned to find the star in distress. But his 911 call was not made until 12.21pm.

The doctor's lawyer has claimed his client's version of events was "a mistake".

Prosecutors will argue it proves Murray left Jacko for more than an hour after giving him the dangerous drug.

Last week it emerged Dr Murray rang another patient at 11.54am with test results.

He hopes to argue the star did have a pulse when he returned to his bedside. As the LAFD took just three minutes to get to Jacko's home after the 911 call, it would mean he left him just a few moments and makes his actions less careless.

Jacko Was 'healthy' Until Fatal Injection

MICHAEL Jackson was in good health until he was injected with powerful anaesthetic Propofol just before he died, a post mortem has revealed.
Apart from inflamed lungs the report did not identify any serious physical problems.

The finding that Jacko died solely from a lethal cocktail of drugs heaps pressure on his personal physician Conrad Murray.


Propofol - which is supposed to be administered only in hospitals - was found in Jacko's body, along with three sedatives.

The autopsy also revealed the 50-year-old had a bizarre tattoo stretching across his head from ear to ear in a bid to hide his baldness. His hair was receding from the front, but had been darkened by the inked pattern.

His remaining "tightly curled" hair was cropped and hidden under wigs he wore in public.

The pathologists revealed his lips had been coloured pink and his eyebrows were blackened by more tattoos. Other checks showed his heart and kidneys were healthy and his weight was fine for his height.

The coroner also noted patches of Jacko's skin had turned white - but other areas, including his legs, remained black.

It lends weight to the singer's insistence he had skin condition vitiligo, rather than cosmetic treatments. The coroner's report said there was "depigmentation" to Jackson's chest, abdomen, face and arms.

It also detailed evidence of the desperate struggle to save Jackson after his collapse at his LA home in June.

The autopsy noted chest bruising and cracked ribs from CPR, and a mechanical device known as a balloon pump inserted into his heart to try to restart it.

The coroner's office announced last month that the star's death was a homicide caused by "acute Propofol intoxication", with the other sedatives listed as a contributing factor.

It gives a behind-the-scenes look at the late star developing and putting the finishing touches to the show that was set to take the O2 Arena in London by storm.

The film — which is said to give a privileged and private look at the Thriller sensation — is to be released worldwide.

Director Kenny Ortega, who was the performer's creative partner, said last month: "The world will see what our team was so fortunate to experience, which was the full commitment, passion and creativity that Michael put into this project."

The movie is due to be shown in the UK on October 28, tickets will go on sale on September 27.
