Things are looking good...

Although I've tried my best to ween myself from the impeccable gorgeousness/hotness/gorgeousity (whatever you want to call his appeal )... it feels like 28 year-old actor Chris Pine just keeps sucking me back in... (it's gotta be the eyes )...

Anyhow, the latest Star Trek iteration (or better put J.J. Abrams re-imagination) of the Star Trek franchise is set for wide release just less than a month from now... As you might imagine the worldwide marketing campaign is also starting to get into the swing of things with premiers being hosted in pretty much all four corners of the globe, magazine spreads galore, and lots and lots of interviews...

So what's the verdict thus far for those who've had the pleasure of getting a screening of the movie? Well let's see... a five minute standing ovation at the Sydney opera house, an 'Out of this World' headline from the Dailymail... oh and a 100% rating from Rottentomates (at least for the time being).... All in all it looks like we might have more than just your 'average' summer blockbuster on our hands ...

I probably would've seen it anyway even with less than stellar reviews, but I think the early praise makes it all the more worthwhile. Zac Efron holds tight for GQ

It's strange how these gorgeous Efron photoshoots tend to somehow coincide with whatever latest project Zac happens to be working on... some might call it viral, I just call it 'thank you may I have another '.... Anyhow these shots were taken by photographer Peggy Sirota for the May issue of GQ. And incidentally Zac's latest theatrical venture 17 Again was released nationwide on Friday... (and in case anyone's wondering, yes his new movie already made it to #1).

Is it me or has Zac apparently been spending a lot of time in the gym? If I didn't know better, I'd say he was actually holding onto the parking meter... as opposed to this being some type of creative photographic illusion ... His right arm seems to be giving a clue ...

Daniel Erthal

Now here's a blast from the past that I really haven't thought about for quite some time...

But seeing as I was still in a mood for Brazilian beauty, I figured how could I possibly forget the gorgeous one himself from Rio... 26 year-old actor/model Daniel Erthal.

Perfection ...

These shots were taken way back in 2006 (it might have been even earlier, seeing as it's been quite a while)... But this amazing photo session with photographer Fernando Torquatto appeared first appeared on Paparazzo and basically floored me at the time.

Gorgeous Daniel debuted in his acting career doing a short stint back in 2004 on a Brazilian telenovela (soap opera) titled Da Cor del Pacado... He subsequently went on to do a couple more series' from 2006 onward, but (from what I gather from his IMDb profile) he hasn't really acted much since 2008 ...

Fortunately his time in modeling did manage to leave us a trail of beautiful gems.

Ah the Brazilian landscape, truly a feast for the eyes indeed...

Jamie Bamber advertises Peta

Actor Jamie Bamber bears some skin... err... or is that Jamie Bamber baring skin?... Ah well, either way, Peta's found a decent excuse to get Battlestar's super hunk actor Jamie Bamber to adorn a more 'animal-friendly' line of fur .

It's all for a noble cause though. Peta is currently running a campaign to protect the Canadian black bears routinely hunted and used as hides for the Queens ceremonial guards over at Buckingham Palace. I wouldn't say I'm the biggest animal rights activists, but I suppose whatever gets Jamie to shed a little clothing has to ultimately be a great cause, no?... now if only they hadn't cropped this shot so high ...

Henry Cavill does Dunhill Black

Imagine a fragrance... a fantastic scented fragrance that allows you to smell as great as one of the most handsome British male actors to grace the small screen. A scent so strong, perhaps it might even improve your chances on picking up an admirer (or two) as you ride along in your $100,000 Maserati ... Have I gotten your attention?

No?... well, err ... Dunhill Black of course hopes to succeed where I've apparently failed... and something tells me they've got the right idea with this one ...

Introducing the newly released fragrance Dunhill Black. Presented of course by none other than one of the most beautiful actors alive. The strikingly handsome Henry Cavill.

Truth be told, I've never actually physically smelled one of Dunhill's brands of men's fragrances (and if I did I most likely wouldn't have been able to identify it). But I am somewhat curious to find out if this is any good. So far I've seen the scent described as that of an old English gentleman () and 'a clump of nettles' being cleared away... sorry, neither of those really help in providing any tangible references for me...

Still, I might just order a bottle (eventually)... Seems sexy enough ...

How unfortunate Cavills aren't included with shipping ... a well, I guess only one more month to go till The Tudors returns. I'll have to wait a little while longer till I get my weekly fix of British perfection.
